I took this photo during a January 1984 visit to the soon to be demolished NorthWestern Station in downtown Chicago Illinois. An early 1950's vintage EMD model E-8 passenger diesel locomotive wearing RTA colors, idles on one of the platform tracks. A light dusting of snow lingers on the station tracks on this cold and gray Chicago winter afternoon.
