I took this rainy Saturday afternoon photo, in northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois. This was the first weekend of April 2007, and already the brown winter grass has turned a bright vibrant green. The trees are patiently waiting for their turn to bloom. The grass smelled nice and fresh, as the gentle rain shower was falling.The air was filled with the sounds of birds.
