I took this photo after a heavy thunderstorm had passed through west suburban Forest Park Illinois. The sun is coming out, as the water drains from the parking lot of the K Mart at 7630 West Roosevelt Road near Des Plaines Avenue.Heavy rains have been known to arrive in the greater Chicagoland Area during the summer months, on very short notice occasionally.
