I took this photo on a cloudy evening after work one day, in early April of 2007. We are looking east from South Kostner Avenue at approximately West 33rd Street on Chicago's near southwest side. A two unit set of EMD roadswitcher diesel locomotives from predecessor railroads Grand Trunk Western , and the Illinois Central , are seen performing switching dutties at the former Illinois Central Crawford Yard.
