We are in northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois, on a sunny but bitterly cold day.
An eastbound Canadian Pacific local freight train with a former Milwaukee Road locomotive providing the power, departs from the nearby CP Bensenville Yard facility with a short string of covered hopper cars in tow.
