Southbound Union Pacific Railroad freight train crossing South Archer Road / Illinois Rt # 171. Summit Illinois. January 2014.

I took this photograph yesterday, in southwest suburban Summit Illinois.

A southbound Union Pacific Railroad freight train, is viewed passing through the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad's Argo Yard, and crossing over South Archer Road / Illinois Rt # 171 on a sunny, but still very cold and windy winter afternoon.

    Hi Anthony!

    There is a second bridge just to the immediate south of the IHB bridge. This bridge roadway connects the lumber yard on the east side of Rt # 171, and a large industrial complex on the west side, just immediately south of the IHB Argo Yard.

    The best part was...No, I wasn't trespassing either. No way!

    This is a great photo location, however it was very cold and windy out there when I took this photo. Brrrrrrr!
