I found this historic early 1980's era photograph from the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad
at my Link page Fallen Flags.Org, which is located to the right of your computer screen at
www.rr-fallenflags.org
Beginning in 1980, the IHB began experimenting with an orange and black "Pumpkin" color
scheme, designed to eventually replace the old early 1960's era New York Central black and white
color scheme from the railroad's former parent company.
Locomotives in both color schemes, are viewed working on the far south side of Chicago, working
together at the IHB's own Riverdale Yard in 1982.
Railfan photographer Dennis Schmidt took this photograph.
