A Bachman H.O Scale (Facsimili) model of an early Pennsylvania Railroad 1860's era steam locomotive.

Being a railfan , I have always had a fascination with steam
locomotives from railroading's past.

This inexpensive H.O Scale Model from Bachman, is also
produced and manufactured in both H.O and N Scale.

While the locomotive, is actually a cosmetically modified
version of the famous Union Pacific Railroad steam loco
# 119, which met with the Central Pacific Railroad steam
locomotive "Jupiter" for the driving of the golden spike
on May 10th, 1869 at Promontory Utah upon the
completion of America's first transcontinental railroad, it
is also typical of coal burning Victorian era American
steam locomotives of the era used on several railroads.

I recall seeing similar preserved Pennsylvania Railroad
steam locomotives, during my August 1990 visit to
the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg P.A.

I may actually consider purchasing one of these in
the future. I hope that there is a way to actually go
and modify the Bachman model with DCC and sound.
