With bright sunshine and outside temperatures in the 10 above zero range, I
captured this classic Chicago winter railroading image, on the northside
of the BNSF Railway Clyde Yard in west suburban Cicero Illinois. We are
looking southwest from alongside West 26th Street east of South Laramie
Avenue. Sunglasses were a necessity on this brilliantly sunlit but very
cold morning in January of 2007.
