I took this photo after work on an overcast April evening in 2007. The westbound Amtrak Illinois Zephyr regional passenger train enroute to Quincy Illinois, is seen approaching the Maple Avenue railroad crossing in West suburban Brookfield Illinois.
The train is now slowing down for the upcoming station stop in the neighboring suburban village of La Grange Illinois approximately a little over a mile west of this photo location.
