Former Soo unit on CP freight. Franklin Park IL. March 2009.
I photographed this digital live sound video during My morning lunch break one day, back March of 2009.
We are on location at the Edgington Street railroad crossing, in northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois. An eastbound Canadian Pacific short freight train made up of empty intermodal cars, passes by our location with a former Soo Line locmotive up front.

I came across this through a convoluted path of blogs, but love the fact that you mention the Soo Line - my childhood home!
