Switching locals and transfer freight trains traveling over elevated right of way and crossing numerous urban viaducts, is a sight that this native southside Chicagoan grew up with here in the windy city.
My Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad transfer train, is viewed passing through a section of the club layout, representing a facsimili ofwest suburban Oak Park Illinois alongside South Boulevard.
Plans are in the works to add more buildings here sometime in the future.
