The aftermath of Chicago's Monday, February 17th, 2014 President's Day snowstorm. Bridgeview Illinois. Tuesday, February 18th 2014., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph yesterday, in southwest suburban Bridgeview Illinois.
The greater / entire Chicagoland area, was hit with 5 inches of heavy lake effect snow during Monday, February 17th 2014 on the President's Day holiday.
5 inches of heavy wind driven lake effect snow, fell during a 12 hour period from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, creating difficult and hazardous travel anywhere in the Chicago area.
This photograph was taken the day after, in southwest suburban Bridgeview Illinois. Believe it or not, it was a very warm and sunny 43 degrees Farenheight, and the dripping snow was melting in the sunshine.
Hurry Springtime!
Thanks.
Eddie K.
