Fellow camera carrying train buffs like myself and many others, often wind up becoming very hungry after spending time in the great outdoors, watching passing trains with our cameras in hand.
One really nice place to enjoy delicious pizza, pasta and Italian Gelato ice cream, is Marino's Italian Café which is located just immediately west of the Wood Dale Illinois Metra commuter rail station, along the south side of West Irving Park Road / Illinois U.S Rt # 19.
The food is very good here, the prices are well within reason, and there can sometimes be a constant parade of passing trains on the adjacent Metra Milwaukee District mainline to Elgin Illinois.
