I had taken this photo on a rainy Saturday afternoon in May of 2006. We are looking east on Montrose at the intersection of Western Avenue. A Chicago Transit Authority NOVA transit coach has just crossed Western Avenue, and is passing one of My favorite little neighborhood diners -"Jeri's Grill". The food is really good here -the prices are reasonable -The staff is friendly -and best of all....It's open 24 Hours. The breakfasts and other homestyle meals are worth stopping in for if You are in the area. I love the biscuits and gravy as well as the hearty omelets. The homemade split pea soup is excellent as well.
