The Forest Park Public Library located at 7555 Jackson Boulevard in west suburban Forest Park Illinois, welcomes local Chicago Historian and Photographer Edward Kwiatkowski to the library on Sunday afternoon, july 15th from 1:30 to 3:30 PM!
Eddie who is known as the host and photographer of the internet site "Eddie's Railfan Page" / http://eddiesrailroad.blogspot.com/ will be presenting a multi media photo slideshow and lecture, about Chicago's recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois ( 1928 - 2009 )
This presentation will also feature an additional multi media presentation featuring several photographs from many now long gone Chicago area amusement parks of the past entitled "Fun On The Midway".
If You can remember places like Riverview Park in Chicago, Kiddy Town in Norridge Illinois, Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom in Oak brook Terrace Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, or even Adventure Land in Addison Illinois....then You wont want to miss this fun and very family oriented presentation at the library.
