I took this photograph last year, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

I grew up on the near southwest side of the city of Chicago Illinois during the 1960's and 70's era, and I enjoy operating the trains that I can recall from that era.

My Life Like Proto 2000 EMD SW 9 yard switcher wearing the pre 1967 colors and markings of the former Illinois Central Railroad, represents the early merger era trains of the early 1970's era Illinois Central Gulf Railroad circa 1973.
