I took this photograph during the early spring season of 2013.
A busy transit terminal serving many bus and rapid transit commuters in the greater Chicagoland area, is the CTA / Pace Rosemont Tramsfer Station. This facility is located along the east side of River Road in Rosemont Illinois, and serves Pace bus commuters, Chicago Transit Authority blue line rapid transit commuters, as well as several local Taxi Cab companies and hotel mini shuttle bus operations as well.
With all of those engines idling, planes landing and taking off from nearby O'Hare International Airport, traffic on adjacent River Road, and all of the constrant traffic on the adjacent I-90 Kennedy Expressway, this is one very noisy location to wait at on any given day or night.
