The greater Chicagoland area woke up to heavy wet snowstorms today. In a scene out of December's Christmas season, an inbound Metra commuter train enroute from Harvard Illinois, is seen approaching the Edison Park station on the Union Pacific ex Chicago & NorthWestern RR northwest line. Further north, all trains were stopped in the town of Barrington Illinois due to fallen power lines on the railroad tracks.It was a messy morning, and very un springlike.
