The Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Corwith Yard engine terminal. Chicago Illinois. March 1985.

I took this photo way back in March of 1985.

Seen here on the southwest side of Chicago Illinois, is the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad locomotive servicing terminal at the A,T & S, F Corwith Yard, photographed during the actual "Santa Fe" days.

In the year of 1995, the Burlington Northern Railroad and the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad merged and became todays BNSF Railway.

Corwith Yard located in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood, is owned and operated today by the BNSF Railway, and still uses the name Corwith Yard for this facility.
