The horrible Chicago blizard of 2011, had just started falling approximately 20 minutes ago, when I took this photo inside the west vestibule of the Mc Donald's fast food restaurant in Elk Grove Village Illinois. Visibility was already down to a half of a mile or less, and the high winds blowing out of the east, made the snowstorm seem more like a desert sandstorm.
It was a bad day for driving on that evening.
