Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee interurban cars at the storage yard near the Harrison Street station. Milwaukee Wisconsin.

I found this historic photograph from the long defunct Chicago, North Shore And Milwaukee electric interurban railroad at My link page Dave's Electric Railroads, located to the right of Your computer screen.

Seen here on a cold winter day at the storage yard near the Harrison Street station in the city of Milwaukee Wisconsin, are several electric powered interurban cars, waiting in the yard between assignments.

Although the Chicago, North Shore And Milwaukee went out of business in January of 1963 after losing their battle with bankruptcy, several of their cars have wound up in railroad museums across America.

Several have found new homes at places like The Seashore Trolley Museum in Kenebunkport Maine, The Fox River Trolley Museum in South Elgin Illinois, and also The Illinois Railway Museum located in the town of Union Illinois.
