I took this photograph during an October 2009 lunch time visit to north suburban Wilmette Illinois.
Viewed facing north from on top of the Maple Avenue bridge over the north branch of the Chicago River, are autum foliage colors of various shades lining the river channel with seasonal splendor on a sunny day.
