Preserved 1960's era CTA Flxible transit bus. The Illinois Railway Museum. Union Illinois. August 2006., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph inside the bus garage, at the Illinois Railway Museum in the town of Union Illinois. www.irm.org
For many years when I was growing up in Chicago during the 1960's, 70's and 80's..I frequently rode these mid 1960's era "New Look" Flxible transit buses that were operated by the Chicago Transit Authority.
This example from that era, has luckily made it to museum preservation.
