The intersection of South Kedzie Avenue and West 63rd Street. Chicago Illinois. Early January 1988., a photo by Eddie from Chicago on Flickr.
I took this photograph way back in early January of 1988.
A westbound Chicago Transit Authority Rt # 63 / 63rd Street bus, waits for the traffic signal to change to green at the intersection of West 63rd Street and South Kedzie Avenue, at the border of Chicago's Marquette Park and Chicago Lawn neighborhoods on the southwest side of the city.

The electronics building was a Walgreen's for many, many years and the empty lot on the SE quadrant was the Marquette Theater building. A stationary store in that building faced Kedzie with a jewelry store and, I think, a candy store in the same building facing 63rd.
Saw many a movie at the Marquette in the 60's and 70's and bought my girlfriend (now my wife) a silver pendant at that jewelry store. Good times.
