I took this photograph last night, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,
H.O Scale Model Railroad Club, located in Oak Park Illinois.
An everday scene for many years in Chicago's south and far southwest suburbs,
were the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad commuter trains, that operated
between downtown Chicago and Joliet Illinois.
A red 1970's era Rock Island commuter train, passes by on the club layout.
"Next stop....Blue Island" Blue Island next stop!"
