Hi everyone!

 

This is Eddie K, your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page.

 

One really fun activity I often enjoy now that the weather is beginning to

warm up during this 2014 Springtime season here in the Chicago aea, is outdoor roller blading sessions at some of the local city and suburban area parks.

 

Here I am recently on a delightfully warm, no jacket required day in northwest

suburban Des Plaines Illinois, at a place known as West Park.

 

Last week was nothing but constant cold temperatures in the 40's and low 50's, with

several days of cold rain and drizzle conditions. A thunderstorm or two was tossed

in for added wet measure. I'm sure that the ducks, geese and various species of

local water foul birds appreciated it more than I did.
