BNSF Railway street markings on a railroad crossing signal relay cabinet. La Grange Illinois USA.

An often passed up detail not noticed by many railfan photographers, are the markings found on lineside equipment. These markings are on a lineside signal relay cabinet, that activates the railroad crossing gates and signals on Brainard Avenue in west suburban La Grange Illinois. These signals recieve constant maintenance and attention here on the BNSF Railway 3 track Metra Chicago to Aurora "Racetrack" mainline, and operate the crossing signals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at any given time when needed.
