I took this photograph in late October of 1991, on a very overcast and rainy day with chilly damp temperatures in the low to mid 40's. Seen here approaching the Hesston Junction Depot, is the "Last" run of the Museum's narrow guage steam train. I was actually invited to hop aboard and ride for free courtesy of the wonderfull people who operate the museums trains. The told Me -
"Don't worry about the ticket! This is the last run buddy! Come on! Hop aboard pal"! It was a cold and damp day. While it was uncomfortable riding in open summer cars in those weather conditions, The railroad crews brought sunshine to many museum patrons faces. It was cold and My fingers stung a little, but it was definately fun.
