A hot sunny day in June of 1985, was enjoyed by Myself and a fellow railfan acquaintance at the Riverside Illinois commuter train station. This is an old 1951 vintage EMD E-9 rolling out it's last years in Chicago commuter train service. This line is the 3 track Burlington Northern Railroad mainline to Aurora Illinois, also known as -The Race Track due to it's high speed trains and frequent rail activity.
