Seen here rounding a curve on the museum's demonstration line, is a 3 car train of C,A&,E
wooden interurban M.U (multiple unit) coaches. These wooden passenger coaches dated from the early 1900's, and were in daily service on the Chicago,Aurora & Elgin railroad, until passenger service was discontinued in 1957. The lead car is painted in the C,A & E's 1930's color scheme of dark red and tan colors. The old Chicago, Aurora & Elgin mainline, is now the Illinois Prairie Path.
The old station in suburban Villa Park Illinois is preserved and is used as a drug store.
