What does an operating railroad museum look like during the off season when it is closed to the public? Answer...Like This!
Sitting in the museum yard under clear skies and cold temperatures, is this collection of vintage Chicago Transit Authority Rapid Transit equipment that dates from the 1920's to the 1950's. Conditions were very slippery and treacherous, and I respect their No Trespassing policy during the off season for obvious safety reasons. Still, this is a lovely winter scene.
