I took this photo looking west from an adjacent service road that leads to the museum shop building. The greater Chicagoland area was hit with heavy snowstorm activity on December 4th 2007, and on a handfull of other sporadic days in early December. Seen here in the open museum yard in a snowy Illinois landscape from left to right are, a two car set of Chicago Transit Authority 5-50 Series Rapid Transit Cars, a green Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee RR 1920's era interurban coach, and two 1920's era orange heavyweight interurban coaches from the Chicago, South Shore & South Bend Railroad.
