I took this photo on a Hot summer afternoon, in July of 1985. Seen here slowing down, is an eastbound Burlington Northern freight train on approach to nearby Clyde Yard in Cicero Illinois. The lead diesel locomotive, is an EMD GP50 roadswitcher. The BN EMD GP50's, were the only known units to recieve this experimental Orange with Bllack striped nose color scheme. Some of My fellow Chicagoland Railfans had refered to them as "Tiger Striped Geep 50's".
