Eastbound CTA Pink line train. Chicago Illinois USA. April 2007.
I took this photo after work one overcast afternoon, in April of 2007. Seen here at the Chicago city limits area just east of the village of Cicero Illinois, is an eastbound Chicago Transit Authority "pink line" rapid transit train. The pink line was originally known in years past, as the "Douglas Park Elevated" line, and later on as the Douglas Park Branch of the CTA Blue Line. A few years ago, it was renamed to The Pink Line.
This train is viewed crossing South Kilbourn Avenue just north of est Cermak Road.
