Welcome aboard the "Bus Day" edition of Eddie's Railfan Page from Chicago Illinois.

I took this photo on a hot July morning in the year of 1985. An old Chicago Transit Authority mid 1960's era Flxible transit bus, is seen waiting at the CTA Route # 52 Kedzie / California Avenue south terminal loop in Chicago's Marquette Park neighborhood. These old Flxibles were in their last full year of service, and would be retired from the CTA roster in 1986. Some became maintenance work service buses.
