I took this photo on a recent visit to Rondout Junction and tower near Libertyville Illinois. Parked on the property of the former Milwaukee Road interlocking tower at Rondout Illinois, is this Metra maintenance department truck. Judging by all of the rust it has accumulated...it certainly doesn't appear to be garage kept.
Still, it is a good dependable heavy duty vechicle for when those infrastructure maintenance and repair jobs come about. Sometimes on very short notice.
