An express commuter train is passing the Metra Norwood Park commuter rail station on Chicago's northwest side. A very snowy December 1st 2006 workday is coming to an end, and these lucky passengers are making great time considering the days stormy weather conditions.
The Norwood Park station is named for the Chicago neighborhood community known as Norwood Park, wich is located on the city's northwest side near the border with the Village of suburban Park Ridge Illinois USA. The depot dates back to the "Steam Era" and has been lovingly restored in recent years.
