I took this picture looking north. I went on location to Brighton Junction, on a sunny but frigid Saturday afternoon, in January of 1988.
Brighton Junction is located on Chicago's near southwest side, just west of the intersection of Archer and Western Avenues. December and early January were both relatively snowless,
however...this was weather that required a
wool hat and a pair of gloves temperature wise.
In the background can be seen the long gone
Campbell soup factory. Notice the water tank that resembles a can of their soup.

I remember the old Campbell Soup factory! Wasn't that around 35th street?
