I was taking railfan photos after a heavy morning snowfall in January of 1987, at Hayford Junction.
Seen here leaving Belt Railway of Chicago trackage , and proceeding south on the interchange curve track, is a GTW freight train with a black diesel locomotive accquired or leased
second hand -from the defunct Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad.
