I took this photo at the rear entrance doors, on Chicago Surface Lines car # 144 at the Illinois Railway Museum located in Union Illinois. CSL car # 144 was built in 1908 by the Pulman Standard Car Company of Chicago, and was in regular service on Chicago city streets untill May of 1954. It was kept on succesor company Chicago Transit Authority untill the end of all electric streetcar service in Chicago in June of 1958. It was one of the first cars preserved at the Illinois Railway Museum.
