I took this photo one morning, in early September of 2007. This is the Metra commuter rail station, located in northwest suburban Itasca Illinois. Itasca is a pleasant and upscale community along the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline. The Metra commuter trains travel this mainline daily between Chicago and Elgin Illinois. Notice the old fashioned cupola and weather vane on the roof, wich is an architectural style dating back to victorian times.
