A weather beaten former Illinois Central EMD roadswitcher, is seen at work switching a cut of tank cars at Crawford Yard on Chicago's near southwest side, just east of Cicero Illinois. Crawford Yard, is a former Illinois Central facility located at approximately West 33rd Street and South Kostner Avenue. This yard is located on the former Illinois Central Railroad -Iowa Division Mainline, wich operates between Chicago Illinois and Waterloo Iowa.Monday, March 10, 2008
