I took this photo on an August 2005 visit to the Hesston Steam Museum located in NW Indiana in the area east of Michigan City near the border at New Buffalo Michigan.This homemade gasoline powered boxcab motor, is normally assigned to the maintenance of way trains on the museum's 14" guage miniature railroad. The locomotive had recieved a new Gray paint job recently, replacing a blue scheme.
On My visit this hot August day in 2005, the locomotive was pulling visiting passengers. The 14" guage train is passing the yellow restrooms.
