An eastbound BNSF Railway freight train crossing Prairie Avenue on a rainy morning. Brookfield Illinois USA. November 2007.
Railroads operate 24 hours a day and seven days a week in all kinds of weather. I took this photo looking south toward the Prairie Avenue railroad crossing in west suburban Brookfield Illinois. In this view of trains in the rain, this eastbound BNSF Railway freight train, passes through Brookfield Illinois during a very cold and rainy November morning in 2007. The normally dirty and oxidized train cars, are glistening in a shiny coat of rain water.
