I took this photo at west Lawrence and north Kimball Avenues, back in April of 1986. Back in 1986, this was the CTA Ravenswood Elevated Line, but today it is known as the CTA Brown line. This is the north -west terminal at Lawrence Avenue. The two 1950's era cars with the green stripe around the standee windows, are the CTA's original 6000 series cars # 6101 and 6102.These two cars are preserved and on display today, at the Fox River Trolley Museum located in South Elgin Illinois.
