I took this photo one morning, in mid December of 2006. Seen here heading west on what was a relatively mild day for this late time of the year, is a westbound BNSF Railway unit coal train. Notice the new condominium building to the left, wich had replaced a row of old storefronts onwest Brookfield Avenue in the past few years.
The freight train is seen passing the Brookfield Metra commuter rail station.
