I took this photo in early November of 1976. My Family and I were visiting the Illinois Railway Museum located in Union Illinois, on what very well could have been the last operating day of the season. In this photograph, we see three electric interurban freight motors. From left to right are the electric locomotives from the Cornwall Street Railway from Ontario Canada, The Commonwealth Edison Company from Chicago Illinois, and the Illinois Terminal Railroad from southern Illinois. This electric trio, were switching cars on the museum yard tracks and shop leads in preparation for the upcoming winter ahead. Hello maintenance season!
