I took this photo after work one day, in August of 2007. We are approximately 4 blocks east of North Kilbourn Avenue, as a Metra rush hour express commuter train races westbound alongside West Kinzie Street. The buildings in the background, are part of the Union Pacific Railroad M-19A Diesel Shop at 400 North Pulaski Road. This is the Union Pacific West line, wich operates daily commuter trains between Chicago and Elburn Illinois. In recent past years, this was the former Chicago & NorthWestern RR.Wednesday, October 10, 2007
