I took this photo in a thick morning fog, in November of the year 2006. I was doing a little railfanning, at the Metra River Forest Illinois commuter rail station. This depot, is located on the Union Pacific west line to Elburn Illinois.River Forest is a very scenic and upscale community, located between the suburban towns of Oak Park and Maywood Illinois. Once the passengers are aboard, the train will proceed eastbound, and arrive at the Richard B. Ogilvie Transportation Center on west Madison Street in downtown Chicago Illinois.
